Barking & Dagenham Citizens Advice Bureau provides:

  • Information and advice on welfare benefits, housing, debt and money, employment, discrimination, family, consumer, tax, immigration and more
  • Information and advice on welfare benefits and debt for people experiencing mental ill health.
  • Hate crime advice, advocacy support to victims of hate crime incidents
  • Outreach Income raising clinics at 8 Childrens Centres.

All residents of Barking & Dagenham who are over 16 are eligible.

Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL)

Ramfel is a charity that supports vulnerable migrants to access justice and that provides vital support in moments of individual crisis.

We assist refugees and migrants with immigration, housing, destitution and some general legal advice.

William Bellamy Children’s Centre (legal advice sessions)

William Bellamy Children’s Centre is working in partnership with Sternberg Reed Law company to offer free legal advice for residents.

This is available on the first Friday of every month for 3 hours in the morning.  You can either book an appointment or just walk in.
