Reclaim at the Lane

At Reclaim at the Lane we have three main aims:

To ensure that residents in our communities on low incomes have access to good quality furniture at low prices, enabling them to create comfortable and happy homes.

To provide access to volunteering and training opportunities, to build stronger, more resilient communities and support people into paid employment. Our ambition is that one day soon Reclaim at the Lane will be run by the local community for the local community.

To help the environment by reusing furniture. In the future we aim to also repair or upcycle items that come to us.

We are a social enterprise and part of East Potential (registered charity number 105314), funded by a combination of self-generated income and the generous support of East Thames Group. Every penny of profit generated goes straight back into keeping Reclaim at the Lane running and enabling us to offer volunteer and training opportunities.

The TCL Re-USE (Lighthouse Furniture Project) prevents reusable items going to landfill and re-uses them to help those in need by providing good quality second-hand furniture and household items at affordable prices.

As a Not for Profit Social Enterprise, 100% of funds raised are reinvested into the organisation to pay core running and operational costs.  Any surplus is used to allow us expand and help more people.

The TCL Re-USE Centre can provide delivery and collection services at a small charge, depending on where you live.
