Red Lion Service

Previously known as The Gateway Service, The Red Lion team provides open access support and treatment for adults with drug and alcohol problems. Our aim is to help people identify the impact drugs/alcohol may be having on your life and to develop the motivation and confidence to make positive changes.

The service provides clear end-to-end recovery pathways to support you from your first engagement in treatment towards successful reintegration into the community. At your first appointment, an experienced, specialist worker will carry out a brief assessment of your needs and work with you to agree a recovery plan to help you move forward.

You will be assigned your own key worker who will be your main point of contact through treatment. This key worker will provide one-to-one support and review your progress regularly to ensure your treatment is effective and meets your needs. The services is confidential and operate an equal opportunities policy.

Our service includes needle exchange and a prescribing service.
